The House program is offered for players in grades 2-12, ranging in age from 7 to 18. It provides a structured environment that allows players to develop their skills and enjoy the game of basketball.

The Summer league is meant to be fun and allow players to play with their friends. No standings are kept and there are no playoffs.

Unlike the Fall/Winter season, there are no evaluations and no draft, therefore the Spring and Summer seasons offer the opportunity to request to play with your friends!

Season dates:
Our summer season is scheduled to run from July 6th to the end of July, with late registration fees applying on June 14th.

Games:
The season consists of an 8 game schedule. Grades are based on current / just completed grade level.

Grades 2-3:
We hold a Fun-damentals league, which offers one practice per week (weeknights) and one game (possibly two games) per week on the weeknights. This age group may be co-ed, depending on the number of players registered for this league.

Boys Grades 4-12:
Players who have just graduated from high school are eligible to play in the summer league.
We will only a have a boys league. Some grades may be combined depending on the number of registrants per grade.
Due to limited gym space, Burke Basketball will not be able to offer teams in grades 4–12 practice slots.

Team formation:
You may request to play with a specific coach or with your friends or both. We will try our best to accommodate requests.
Teams are formed by player requests. If a player has not requested to play with anyone specific, we will try to place him/her with other players from their school or neighborhood.

Coach / Team Scheduling requests:
Coaches may request certain days or times for their games in order to avoid conflicts and get the most kids at the games. Due to the short season, we cannot promise to honor all requests, but we will do our best.

Individual Scheduling Requests:
We cannot accommodate scheduling requests for individual players!

Notes
We recommend that players in grades 4-12 participate only if they have played basketball with us or another league previously, since this league has only games and no practices.
