Spring 2008 House Registration

Burke Basketball is starting it's first Spring basketball league with registration beginning Feb. 25th and games beginning in March. The season will run for 8 weeks having games on the weekends (no weekday practices or games). |

|
The Spring league is for Grades 2-12. For the groups where there are not enough players to form at least 6 full teams, we will combine the teams with the next lower or upper grade players. |
|

|
Burke Basketball will supply referees, game clocks, gym space and player tee-shirts. League team standings will not be kept. |
|
|

|
Games will be regulation and we will follow Burke Basketball's codes of conduct, registration, participation rules and general rules. Registration will be on-line via the link below.

Individual requests should be put into the comments section during registration and
we will try our best to honor them.
|
|

|
Games will be played on the courts in elementary gyms, middles school gyms and high schools in our area.
|
|

|

|
Season timeline for games will be approximately the weekend of March 29th through the 23rd of May (or 30th if needed). |

|
Volunteer coaches, teens or adults will be needed along with VBDs. Volunteer sign up will be on-line via the 2007-08 Volunteer page (link is below). |

This will be an eight (8) week season with registration beginning the 23rd of February. The end of open registration is March 15th. Beginning March 16th, late fees will apply and placement on a team is not guaranteed although all efforts will be make to place registered players on a team.

Winter teams can be carried over by coaches with prior permission if we can accommodate
them, subject to review by league officials for balance in the program.
This pertains only to Burke Basketball 2008 House teams.

Cost for the Spring season is $65 per player during the registration period 25 Feb. to 15 Mar. Late fees apply beginning March 16th. |

There will be no practice times allocated. Simply meet your team and play. |
