Summer 2010 Coach and Volunteers: Register via on-line form to coach and volunteer for the Summer League.

NEW - Summer 2010 College Age Co-Ed League: Registration is now open for the Burke Basketball summer co-ed league. This is a recreational program and is not intended for current or prospective college players. Graduating HS seniors are also eligible to participate in this program.

Teams - Only team registrations will be accepted – registration is $80 per team. This program will be an 8 game season, no playoffs or practices. All games will be officiated, and are scheduled to be played at Robinson High School.

Team Play - Games will start in July, all teams must register by June 18. VHSL basketball rules apply, with some exceptions including 2 female players must be on the court at all times.

Update - Registration Extended - College Age league registration will be extended until June 30.

Travel Summer 2010: Travel Tryouts are over, for any questions, contact the Travel Commissioner at austing1@nationwide.com.

Fall/Winter 2010-2011 Registration:

Youth League Player Registration - The upcoming 2011 season registration will begin the first week of September for grades K-12.

The focus of the Burke Basketball organization is teaching basketball skills, teamwork and good sportsmanship, as well as making new friends and having fun!

Please refer to our web site above for detailed information and registration in early Sept for the fall/winter season (Oct – Feb), Feb-March (for spring) and May-June (for summer)!

We recommend that you register early, particularly for our Instructional program (Coed, grades K-1 or ages 5-6), Boys grades 2-3 and Boys HS age groups, since these do fill up quickly!

Burke Basketball runs House (recreational) leagues for boys and girls in grades 2-12, Travel teams for ages 9-13, an Instructional program (grades K-1) for 6 weeks in Jan/Feb, and Adult leagues for men and women. Practice and play is at public schools in the Burke/Fairfax/Fairfax Station area.

We are always seeking parent and teen volunteers as Coaches, Volunteer Building Directors (County gym monitors), and Parent Reps for the schools in which we play! We are very lucky to have had wonderful volunteers over the years, which keeps our organization so successful!
