The 1st Annual Burke Basketball & V Foundation Basketball Tournament will be held 31 May 2008 at Robinson HS.

All proceeds for this event will go towards the JimmyV Cancer Research Foundation. For more information on the foundation, visit their web site at www.jimmyv.org .

We are looking forward to having a really fun time playing our favorite sport while supporting this great cause.

Teams:

Team Entries Only - Men's and Women's teams included (note: no co-ed teams).

Men's and Women's teams will play in separate brackets.

Tournament play will be a 5-on-5 double

Player Age:

All players must be 30 years old or older.

Proof of age for each player will be required before the start of the game.

2008 Team Registration

$150
 On-time registration ends 26 May
    Beginning 27 May, any teams that register may not get placed.
     
Instructions -

Please have only one person register your team.

- Be prepared to know the name of the team captain for registration.

- Payment will be via credit card only (VISA/MC).

- The first contact email address provided in the on-line form will be used as the primary means of contact.

- Proof of payment will be required before the start of the game.

- Tournament slots are limited and are first come, first serve. We will try to accommodate all teams. Once gym space has been filled we will refund any team that does not get a playing slot. Register early.

Make Sure Your Computer & Browser Meet The Following Requirements!

  • You will need current browsers for security purposes (Internet Explorer 6.0 w/SP2 or Netscape Communicator 8 or newer).
  • If you do not have 128 bit encryption on your browser, you will experience problems with the on-line registration form and the credit card payment process.
  • If you use any browser other than IE or Netscape as stated above, your complete registration process will probably result in dropping important information to us which will in effect hinder all attempts to properly document you players registration. 
  • For AOL users, minimize the AOL browser and open either IE v6 or Netscape to register. The AOL portal can be unfriendly to web applications.
  • Always keep your browser software updated.

- Please read all information carefully as we have tried to be very thorough and cover all the necessary information for you to register your basketball player for this season.

- Burke Basketball will not be responsible for any incomplete registrations that are a result of using browser software other that Microsoft IE v6 (SP2) or Netscape v8.

- If you do not get a "Certificate of Registration" page showing your Team ID at the end of the registration process, your registration has not been processed.

If experiencing any technical issues during the registration process, try using a different computer as the problem can very likely be with your browser and/or browser settings.
