House Draft Evaluation Schedule: The schedule below is for Grades 4-8. There will not be any pre-skill evaluations for Grades K-3. If you attended tryouts for either Travel or Boys House U9 and did not make a team, you must attend the House draft sessions listed below to be considered for a team.

Please check the evaluation table below on the day it is scheduled before leaving your house. This is in case there is a last minute gym change by the local school or county.

House U9 Competitive League (Boys Grades 3/4) Tryouts: The tryouts for this league are Friday the 12th of October. This is a tryout session, if you do not make this league, show up at the regular House sessions on the schedule below. Players with the last name between A-L show up at 7PM, M-Z show up at 8PM.

Girls HS and JV House Evaluation Schedule: For Girls ages 14+, HS Evaluations session dates have not been determined at this time. We will post the information here and send an email to those registered players. Team placement will be based on requests, previous years experience, and school attended. Registered players will be notified by a coach in December. Contact Fran for any questions.

Boys HS and JV House Evaluation Schedule: The Boys evaluation session dates have been posted below. Please attend the session for your age group for which you registered. Contact John Rensbager for any questions.

All players must attend the draft session and be registered/paid to be considered for team placement.

The comparative chart below is how we categorize players in the House league.

This was primarily conceived from community response in an attempt to get players grouped with others in their current grade level.

When registering for the House league each year, the player will be placed in the Grade level chosen by the parent/guardian. Only Travel league registered players will be grouped by age per Fairfax County rules.

Travel Tryout Schedule : If you are not placed on a Travel team, contact our registrar us so we can change your record to the House league. This is very important. If we do not move your record, coaches will not have your name for the draft, and you will not receive any emails on upcoming House team events.

Attendance at tryouts is mandatory to be considered for a travel team. It is recommended that you attend as many tryouts (for your age group) as you can.
