Burke Basketball will conduct for the second year the House Boys U9 competitive league (grades 3 and 4). This league is for boys who are 9 years or younger on 1 October 2007.

Burke will sponsor a six-team league with 8 players on each team. Players will be expected to attend tryouts will be the 2nd week of October. After the tryouts, a House Boys U9 league draft will take place. See the House Evaluation page for the latest information on the tryout dates for this league.

Not everyone who attends tryouts will be selected for this league. If a player is not selected, they will be placed in the regular House Boys 7/8 (grade 3) or Boys 9 (grade 4) league. You must attend to be considered for this league.

This league is an opportunity for the talented players to play a higher level of competitive basketball, and begin to prepare for the Fairfax County Travel League that starts at age 10.

A mass email with tryout dates/times/locations will be sent in the first or second week of October to registered B9 and B8 players.

Any House boys 8/9 players not selected for the new U9 league must still attend the regular House draft evaluation sessions during the 3rd/4th week of October.
